Why does the media make Islam look like it teaches terrorism?

Muslims dont ask ppl to bomb ppl that dont follow islam. They're fundamentalists who do as they please. And please dont give me that jihad crap saying thats what were taught to do. Our parents dont teach us to kill anyone that isnt muslim. We're taught normal things then why is it that we're treated differently?
