My wife and I are newlyweds, and we both had medical coverage with Blue Cross Anthem. I recently became eligible for benefits at my job, but with the prices they are offering I don't see where the benefit is. So I've decided to go with someone else like Kaiser if not stay with Anthem. I figured having medical coverage under the same plan should be cheaper, but I'm not sure. Yes I know, talk to a representative. I'm trying to, it's just Anthem's customer support structure is so stupid, I have to email them and wait for a call back. My license has been revoked. I got into a crash last month and I'm already appealing the ticket because it was wrongfully given to me. I got it for speeding and going out of the marked lines when i wasn't speeding (the cop wasn't there at the time of the crash) there was just a truck coming around a narrow curve that was taking up part of my lane, so i went out of my lane onto sand and swerved and crashed. Will appetite suppressants work even if I am not overweight?

I am not overweight, my BMI and weight is completely average for my age/height/frame, but with summer coming up, I just want a little help losing 10lbs. Will appetite suppressants (which are usually intended for very overweight individuals) have any effect? I eat pretty healthy, but I have compulsive eating problems as a part of a mental disorder and I'm hoping an appetite suppressant will aid my antidepressants (wellbutrin) with that problem as well, as any impulsive eating is mostly habitual at this point, and I'm finding it difficult to kick that habit. Anyone tried appetite suppressants for mild weight loss? Any suggestions?

Alrighty so I met a guy named John at the beginning of this year. He is goth and I am a Christian. He played the guitar and one day I sat next to him and listened. I couldnt help but look at him (he is really hot) So I made up my mind and e-mailed him to try to makeup. He told me he never liked me and that he never has, etc.etc.. I wrote him back saying I never wanted to talk to him again and that the rumors were lies. At school he started saying Hi (my name) every day. It was weird. He even hit my backpack playfully. Hi, can anyone help, i think i may be dyslexic, I am 20 years old and have alot of difficulty with day to day work, my reading is poor, i have to read a paragraph over and over to understand it and sometimes i dont and have to have someone read it to me, i read very slow and miss lines and words, ever worse when reading aloud, i have difficulty expressing myself in words i can easily tell someone an answer but writing it down is very difficult. my handrighting style changes all the time along with the way i hold a pen, i get confused very easily with directions and dates, i work out a soloution and nobody else understands my thinking, i am very disorganised and get easily frustrated when i cant do something properly.... does this sound like dyslexia??? i cant afford to pay for a diagnosis but have done an online essment which suggests that i possibly do have dyslexia, can anyone help, i live in scotland

My dorm-mate is a man-eater...?

I have a little bit of a problem with my dorm-mate and once good friend. I've known her for about 3 years and I've seen more and more things that I do not like. She is a habitual liar and will lie over the most petty things and will also make up the most ridiculous stories (I am uming to gain attention). She also likes to turn the story around so that she looks like the victim when in reality it is her causing the drama. She is very flirtatious and it seems that any time a new guy joins our group of friends, she has to pounce on him, even if she is not interested in him. She has done this to several guys, leading them on and stringing them along and then talking trash about them behind their backs and then being so flirtatious and friendly to their faces. She caused a huge riff between my best guy friend and I because she was manipulating him and telling him things that were untrue to make him not want me as a friend anymore. She complains constantly how everyone seems to be in love with her and how "annoying" it is and how they don't "get the picture" and it is very frustrating. If you don't like someone and you don't want them to like you...why are you grinding all over them?? She is cute, don't get me wrong but last time I checked she didn't look like Megan Fox. This is very hard to live with and see on a daily basis. She also will put me down in front of our guy friends or other guys and I do not understand why. Anytime I have been interested in a guy and they mention their interest in me she will tell them that I am not ready for a relationship and I still need to heal from my last one. What really threw me over the top is that recently their was a guy that I became interested in. I told her I thought I might like him and today behind my back she went and asked him out. I weigh around 300 pounds and i've actually lost weight with my new diabetes medication and totally changing my eating habits. I became a vegetarian, cut out soda, and all sweets that I used to eat. Our Supervisor treats a married coworker like she's his wife. What to do?

There are about 23 people on our crew & we all have different tasks that we perform. (factory work) What makes our work environment uncomfortable is that our Supervisor treats one of our female coworkers like she's his wife. Follows her around most of the day, or calls her several times to come sit in his office only to visit, helps her do her job tasks, takes her breaks with her, gets VERY upset at the rest of us if we ask her to do something (even if it's her task to do) "We need to be more considerate of her time"..."her help is for our convenience"...WTF?! This really is not a question, I am a nutritionist and outdoorsman and I get this question all the time ""Do Sauna's and steam room make you lose weight"" the answer is yes. People who do not do there research will say "nope, just water weight!" I even heard a stupid answer that stated "Nope you lose water, and that a Zero Calorie drink!" these people may have the right motives, but they are clearly mistaken. What a Sauna does is it raises your body temperature and causes you to sweat. that sweating is great for cleaning out pores as well as relaxation. It also causes your body to go into something called "overdrive". When your body is in this state it kick starts your metobolism. sort of like a defibulator kickstarts your heart. It raises your temperature and your body automatically tries to cool it down. Since you are in a superheated room, your body will not successfully lower your body temperature but will continue to try, this burns calories. Just like when you run on a treadmill, you burn calories by an excellorated heart rate as well as the body trying to cool itself down. Do I suggest a sauna or steam room is the main sorce of weight loss, no. You lose weight much faster by a healthy diet and excercise plan, but a steam room helps that proccess.

I have BCBS of Texas and your are right to worry. I had to have surgery and I have a history of DVT's and my PCP wrote a RX for Lovenox injections, which are real expensive and my drug coverage was for $2700. per year. I called CVS pharmacy and they had a "new person" there and told me that the RX was $500. and that sounded okay because my drugs didn't come to the limit and I got the RX and my drug benefit statement came back with a price tag as $1525.40 which I have no drug coverage for the rest of the year and I am on the $4.00 rx's for the rest of the year...this happened in March 08. Nothing no one can do because it was not their fault and CVS says 'we make mistakes, sorry. I should have thought about this when getting BCBS and I WON'T EVER go back to CVS.

It's true that there are a lot of vampire stories out right now. But SO WHAT? If that's what you're interested in writing about, go right ahead! You need to be pionate about your writing and have faith that it will NOT be a copy of someone else's book. The only problem I can see with this is that if you ever decide to get it published, it might be a little tricky just because of the vampire overload out there. However, that shouldn't stop you from writing because if it's meant to be, it'll happen. Anyway, publishing should not really be a concern at this point. Good luck!

After i installed xp everything would boot up fine but windows is really slow and doesnt work well. without using synchro monsters, i would say pretty good job. the only thing is that zombies are pretty bad without synchros so you might want to change your deck to fit that type of build. first, take out all of the monsters that are above level 4 except maybe ryu kokki. then, take out any other monsters who dont help to swarm; which is to get out as many other monsters as you can as fast as possible. add a plaguespreader zombie, have 3 zombie master, definitely use mezuki, and use 3 pyramid turtle as well as 2 goblin zombie. as for the extra deck (the cards on the side that contains synchros and fusions) use doomkaiser dragon and revived king ha des. apart from that, throw in whatever synchros look good as well as they match the deck and are easy to get out. It's been over 2 wks since my 13 month-old drank anything and now is refusing food, what's wrong with him?

The problem with children not drinking is that they can get dehydrated very quickly. I would take him back in for another strep test and make sure they do it really good. Some doctors will say that children this young typically won't get strep, but it is possible (from experience). This does not sound normal to me. Keep taking him to the Dr. or if nothing is done there, take him to the ER. If anything, they can give him some fluids IV and that may perk him up. One thing that I have learned over the last 8 years of parenting is that if you just have a gut instinct that something isn't right, keep pursuing it. Good Luck.

im 15 and was diognosed with mono two weeks ago because i was horribly sick the week before. the doc caught it at the earliest stage and its been downhill from there. my spleen is swollen, my neck glands r soo swollen they feel like they're gunna burst, my trhoat is soo sore i cant eat, drink, or even sleep, i cant breathe out of my nose, even with nasal spray. i was only tired the first week i had it, and even with the lack of sleep, im not tired, im a little weak though. yesterday in the shower i almost ped out and vomited stomach acid instead. my ears hurt from my sore throat and swollen glands. i feel absolutely horrible. i just want to get better, i have horses to take care of, a boyfriend to hangout with, plus school starts in a month, family reunion on august 1st, i just want to get back to my normal life. during the majority of the night when i cant sleep, i end up crying beczuse all i want is to get better, but i just keep getting worse!!! nasal spray has done nothing for me, neither has tylonal, or ibeprofin, or throat spray, or sore throat drops, or sinus medicine, nothing is working!!!! the doc put me on steriods 2 days ago and said it would help with all my symtoms, but they have done nothing -.- ive tried gargling salt water, drinking tea with and without honey, but my throat is soo sore i can barely drink without crying, and the doc said he cant give me anything for that. im also trying to put an ice pack on my glands so i can actually turn my head without wanting to cry. as i said, im not tired, im not exhausted, just weak from almost no sleep, and the one can a day of chicken noodle soup that i can barely eat/drink. i dont do anything all day, just sit there and watch tv. my reflexologist said no dairy because the bacteria will make it worse, so ive had no milk, ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, in the past 3 weeks. i cant taste or smell anything at all. please!!!! i just want to get better!!! anything else i can do???

Ok so I just picked up a piece the other day and have probably had 9 bowlsful(if that's a word)and it's starting to change colors a little bit which I am liking. For those of you who know about this, it already stinks pretty bad if I were to leave it out. My friends have a pouch thing that blocks out the smell of the piece when you store it which I don't have money to purchase. Right now my setup is my piece wrapped in a couple crumbled fabric softener sheets, in a little skullcandy headbag where you keep the extra ear buds(the end of the piece sticks out a little), and then I put it in an empty beef jerky can with eye drops,lighter, and a pill bottle with "herbs" in it; finally I put it in my safe and in my closet. I know it sounds like I already got a sweet spot and setup but some hits you can taste fabric softener a little bit and it bothers me. Does anyone know any other good ways to hide it from my crazy mom without it stinking? Eff the people who say don't smoke cannabis.

Well, I've been in your shoes, and I can definitely say from personal experience that it is possible to be friends with a guy that liked you and asked you out. In fact, a guy exactly like that (who had a crush on me for 4 years and asked me out 6 times) is one of my best friends. So don't discount the fact that it is possible to be friends with him. If I were you, I just wouldn't do anything unless he actually asks you out or tells you that he likes you. It sounds like he's a shier guy, so he probably won't do that unless you really really encourage him to. My advice: just back off a little. In time, he'll realize that you aren't into him, and it will be fine. The biggest thing right now is not to make a big deal out of it. If anything, just pretend not to notice that he likes you. If he does ask you out, pretend like its not a big deal. Don't get awkward and flustered, just tell him that you don't feel the same way. The next day, if you see him at school, act exactly like it never happened and he'll act the same way. No harm done. Good luck! Hope this helped!

Homeworking?

Watching DVDs w/step kids, they're Muslim from another country, ranging from 20-something to 10yrs old. Their father encourages and they believe that watching a film with grotesque violence--ppl’s heads being blown off, wild animals eating a person alive and other atrocities. However, for exp. they see a husband/wife do a three-second, goodbye kiss in an airport (like in the G/PG movies I rent) they will grab the remote and fast forwarding DVD in disgust. First I was perplexed. Now, months later, it's ANNOYING. Sometimes right after a kiss (quick or fast) the characters say something that is vital to the film. I often miss that b/c they FF it. Sometimes the youngest will FF b/c she THINKS a kiss MAY happen. One day when we were watching a PG Oscar winner they went to grab the remote to FF just before a kiss and I snatched it away and said, “You're being rude! U Don’t wanna see something, then close your eyes or look away.” They looked shocked at me but isn't what I said correct?

Introduce her first to an older, calmer dog who you know well to be mellow. You don't want to risk her getting hurt again after all. Have a squirt bottle and clicker ready. Any time she calmly sniffs the other or makes a positive move, click the clicker and pet her. Any time her hackles are raised or she starts to growl, raise her tail directly up in the air or make aggressive postures, squirt her. After a while, she should get the picture. Then repeat it with a different dog, until she becomes more friendly over all. Once you are comfortable with her behavior, take her to a dog park. That is the ultimate socializing experience provided that your dog is controllable.

Advice needed on large mock cherry tree looking very sickly?

My neighbours have a very large mock cherry in their garden right on the boundary with our garden. About 3 years ago the previous owner paved over the whole of their garden which is only tiny and erected a fence right against the tree. Since then all the shrubs on our side of the fence have gradually faded and died apart from the Hawthorn hedge which although now only has leaves on our side. Now I notice that the tree is showing signs of dying on one side despite it having had more blossom on it this year than I have ever seen on any cherry. I have been watering my side of the garden in a desperate attempt to keep my shrubbery going, could our very limey water be the cause of the cherry looking so sick?
