Check systems is reporting an item unpaid.......but they are not specific as to what bank it is? what shud ido

This is stopping me from opening a checking account anywhere.......if anyone can help please email me or include your contact info.....check systems is reporting an unpaid debt but it is not saying what company it is for? What am i supposed to do?......does anyone have a # to check systems that actually has a person answering?
