What does this mean for a teenage girl?

What does it mean when your arms and legs get longer, but you aren't necessarily taller? For example, say a girl is 17, 5'5 with legs and arms 34 inches long and then they lengthen to about 35-36 inches. Is she getting taller or are her limbs just getting longer?
