Is it bad if I write a vampire novel?

It's true that there are a lot of vampire stories out right now. But SO WHAT? If that's what you're interested in writing about, go right ahead! You need to be pionate about your writing and have faith that it will NOT be a copy of someone else's book. The only problem I can see with this is that if you ever decide to get it published, it might be a little tricky just because of the vampire overload out there. However, that shouldn't stop you from writing because if it's meant to be, it'll happen. Anyway, publishing should not really be a concern at this point. Good luck!
