Why is there so much Irony in the world?

How come the world has so much irony? Uranium, one of the most important elements which constituted to the creation/upholding of life on earth, is now being used to kill in m amounts? Why has comunism, which benefits all people, ended up in so many absolutist governments? Why do so many politicians say they are good christians when they send of soldiers to kill, a direct sin?
