Could someone please help me with a movie

I can only remember that there was this guy who lived in the woods and he was not shaven and dirty.. He came out of the woods and went to this hot dog stand or something and asked for a hamburger // the guy asked him how he wanted his hamburger cooked.and he said raw and he ate raw hamburber...........then there was this girl who came in to town and he saw her in trouble with some guys and he protected her took him in and gave him a bath and gave him a shave ......eventually she fell in love with him.....any ideas??????????????
